Salary Range : $40,000.00 To $50,000.00 Annually
Overview :
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Broadcast Production & Traffic Coordinator to write compelling scripts for radio and TV broadcast promotions, advertisements, and announcements. This role also manages the flow of projects from concept through production and delivery, ensuring that all content is completed on time, adheres to brand standards, and is successfully broadcast or published to the appropriate media outlets.
Key Responsibilities :
Write original, persuasive scripts for TV and radio spots, including promotional content, public service announcements, advertisements, and station IDs.
Collaborate with creative, production, and marketing teams to develop messaging that aligns with client or station goals.
Coordinate with audio and video production teams to produce final versions of scripts (including voiceover sessions, editing, and mixing).
Manage trafficking of finished spots—ensuring correct formatting, tagging, and timely delivery to broadcast stations and platforms.
Track deadlines, production schedules, and station requirements to ensure smooth flow from concept to air.
Maintain an organized content calendar and project database, including version control of all spot materials.
Ensure legal and compliance standards for advertising content are met (e.g., FCC guidelines, copy regulations).
Provide status updates and performance reports to stakeholders as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Production, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in advertising, media production, or broadcast writing.
Strong copywriting and editing skills, with an ear for spoken-word media.
Familiarity with broadcast and digital media formats, distribution practices, and station delivery standards. Proficient in project management tools and media asset management platforms.
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple overlapping projects.
Preferred : Experience in both radio and television environments.
Knowledge of traffic scheduling systems (e.g., WideOrbit, Marketron).
Background in advertising or promotions with creative sensibilities.
Hours : Monday-Friday; 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm
