We are looking for a skilled File Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Circleville, Ohio. In this role, you will assist with document imaging and organization projects, ensuring records are accurately processed and stored. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy maintaining order and thrive in detail-oriented tasks.

Responsibilities :

• Organize and process paper documents to prepare them for scanning and electronic filing.
• Operate scanning equipment to digitize records accurately and efficiently.
• Label and index scanned files to ensure proper categorization and easy retrieval.
• Lift and handle file boxes weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Utilize step ladders to access and organize documents stored at higher levels.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive information during processing.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in filing or indexing systems.
• Maintain an organized workspace to optimize workflow and prevent errors.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in document processing, filing, or record management.
• Proficiency in handling paper filing, scanning, and document indexing systems.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with bending, twisting, and climbing step ladders during daily tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with e-filing systems and electronic document management.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
