Job Description

Packers will work at the end of the production line, where they will be responsible for packaging finished materials. The role involves loading rolls of finished product into the winder machine, stopping the machine once it reaches the correct measurements, visually inspecting the products, labeling them, placing the rolls in boxes, and palletizing them.

Responsibilities

• Load rolls of finished product into the winder machine.
• Stop the machine at the correct measurements.
• Visually inspect the products for quality assurance.
• Label and package products into boxes.
• Palletize packaged products for shipment.

Work Environment

The work schedule is a 12-hour night shift from 6pm-6am, following a 3-2-2-3 rotation. This is a blown extrusion molding facility characterized by a hot and dusty environment. The machines are three stories high, requiring candidates to be comfortable with the physical demands of walking up multiple flights of stairs throughout the day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50 / hr.
