Nasuni is seeking an experienced Vice President of Marketing Operations to drive operational excellence and scalability across our marketing organization. Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Planning
Partner with CMO and executive team to translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies and operational plans
Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning processes, including goal setting, resource allocation, and success metricsDevelop comprehensive marketing operations frameworks that support scalable growthCreate and maintain marketing performance dashboards and executive reportingMarketing Revenue OperationsOwn Marketing's contribution to pipeline generation and revenue attribution models
Establish and optimize lead scoring, routing, and qualification processesPartner closely with Sales Operations to ensure seamless handoff and conversion trackingDrive marketing qualified lead (MQL) to sales qualified lead (SQL) optimizationImplement closed-loop reporting to measure marketing impact on revenueProgram Execution & ManagementOversee end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns across all channels
Establish project management frameworks and processes to ensure on-time, on-budget deliveryCoordinate cross-functional initiatives between marketing, sales, product, and customer success teamsImplement quality assurance processes and performance optimization protocolsMarketing Automation & TechnologyLead marketing technology strategy, implementation, and optimization
Manage marketing automation platforms (MAP) to drive personalized, scalable customer journeysOversee data management, segmentation strategies, and campaign orchestrationEnsure marketing technology integrations support attribution and analytics requirementsIntegrated Marketing OperationsCoordinate multi-channel campaign planning and execution across digital, events, content, and field marketing
Establish consistent messaging, branding, and campaign standards across all marketing touchpointsOptimize channel performance and budget allocation based on data-driven insightsDrive alignment between demand generation, product marketing, and customer marketing functionsMarketing Technology Implementation & Stack ManagementEvaluate, select, and implement marketing technologies that enhance operational efficiency
Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for marketing technology providersEnsure proper integration between marketing tools and broader tech ecosystem (CRM, analytics, etc.)Maintain data hygiene, security, and compliance standards across all marketing systemsAgile Marketing PracticesImplement agile marketing methodologies to increase speed-to-market and adaptability
Establish sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective processes for marketing teamsCreate testing frameworks for continuous campaign and channel optimizationFoster culture of experimentation and data-driven iterationBoard & Executive CommunicationPrepare comprehensive marketing performance reports for board meetings and investor updates
Present marketing operations insights and recommendations to executive leadershipDevelop executive-level dashboards that clearly communicate marketing's business impactSupport fundraising and strategic initiatives with marketing performance dataBudget Management & Cost OptimizationLead annual marketing budget planning and quarterly forecasting processes
Monitor campaign spending and ROI across all marketing channels and programsIdentify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining performance standardsImplement financial controls and approval processes for marketing investmentsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred10+ years of marketing operations experience with 5+ years in senior leadership rolesProven track record scaling marketing operations in high-growth B2B SaaS environmentsDeep expertise in marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, 6sense) and CRM systems (Salesforce)Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing attribution and revenue operationsDemonstrated experience managing marketing technology stacks and vendor relationshipsExperience presenting to executive teams and board membersStrong project management and cross-functional leadership capabilitiesPreferred Qualifications
Experience in enterprise storage, cloud infrastructure, or data management sectorsBackground in agile marketing methodologies and change managementAdvanced analytics experience with tools like Tableau, Snowflake, or similar platformsPrevious experience at companies with $150M+ ARR or high-growth startupsCertification in marketing automation platforms and project management methodologiesAbout Nasuni
