About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Active California RN license required

2 years of PICU experience or significant CVICU background

Travel experience or experience with floating

Infection control and PPE knowledge

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse to work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

The nurse will be responsible for the care of critically ill pediatric patients.

The unit admits over 1,700 patients annually and has received accolades for excellence.

Nurses will work variable shifts that may include weekends and holidays.

The position requires the ability to float within the facility as needed.

Participation in on-call duties may be required.

The patient demographic includes neonates, infants, and adolescents.

The daily census averages around 250 patients.

Key procedures and skills include care for ventilated patients, central line management, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in pediatric care, specifically related to congenital heart disease and critical care settings.
