What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for a varied patient base, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, employing both standardized tools and observational assessments.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that target both immediate and long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions that focus on language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, caregivers, and families to create integrated care approaches.
• Provide education and resources for patients and their families to promote progress outside the therapy room.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient speech evaluations and therapeutic interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the recovery journey.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, adhering to all regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through continual education and peer collaboration.

Your Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certification Requirements

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
