Job Summary :
The Industrial Maintenance Technician supports the construction, repair, and troubleshooting of advanced, highly automated manufacturing equipment. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The technician will play a key role in equipment assembly, maintenance, and improvement within a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities :
Perform assembly, setup, testing, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical equipment.Interpret mechanical drawings and build equipment to specification.Use power tools (saws, drills, grinders, etc.) safely and effectively.Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on production equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components of automated systems.Support installation, qualification, and debugging of new equipment.Document maintenance activities and communicate issues to cross-functional teams.Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all tasks.Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance or assembly (e.g., manufacturing, HVAC, construction, automotive).Proficient with hand and power tools.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand / walk for extended periods.Willingness to work any shift.Experience with automated equipment and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).Familiarity with mechanical systems, sensors, and precision assembly.Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and component debugging.
