About The Position

Locum CRNA Opportunity – Charlottesville, VA – Day Shifts, No Call

A full-time locum opportunity is available for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in Charlottesville, Virginia. This role offers a flexible weekly schedule, a high-acuity patient population, and no call responsibilities.

Position Details :

• Start Date : October 6, 2025

Schedule Options :

3x12-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

4x10-hour shifts

Weekend availability preferred (rotating Saturdays)

Call Requirements : None

Orientation : 16 hours

Case Types Include :

GI

General Anesthesia

No open heart, thoracic, OB, pediatric, or peripheral nerve block cases

Additional Information :

Practice setting : Inpatient & Outpatient

Level 1 Trauma Center

EMR system : Epic

Team includes 60 CRNAs, 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residents

Coverage includes 33 main ORs, 16 offsite locations, 12 outpatient ORs, and 4 GI rooms

COVID and flu vaccines required (no exemptions accepted)

All time-off requests must be submitted upfront; extended time off not approved during summer months

Qualifications :

Active Virginia license required

ACLS and BLS (AHA only) required

Minimum 2 years of experience

Experience in academic or Level 1 / 2 trauma settings preferred

Must be comfortable working with ASA 3+ patients

GI experience required
