Please look up Dr. Leal on Betterucare.com Position Summary: The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Better U plays a key role in providing comprehensive mental health care services across multiple states. This position involves conducting psychiatric assessments, medication management (experience required), prescribing ketamine therapy, and offering therapeutic interventions while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements. Your dedication contributes to the success of our program and the well-being of our patients. Qualifications and Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ● Licensure: Active state-licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (preferred Licensure: Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in multiple states (preferred locations: CA, NY, TX, AR, DE, HI, KS, KY, ME, MT, NE, NM, ND, OK, RI, SC, SD, VT, WV) ● Clinical Experience: At least one year of experience providing services as an NP or PA in a psychiatric setting or telehealth setting. ● Patient-Centered Approach: Ability to establish deep rapport with a diverse range of individuals; demonstrate authenticity, empathy, warmth, and non-judgmental support. ● Growth-Oriented: Commitment to personal and professional growth with experience overcoming adversity and fostering resilience. ● Regulatory Compliance: Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience working with confidential information. ● Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team. ● Remote Capability: Ability and tools to work remotely while maintaining high-quality patient care. ● Integrative Medicine Experience: Background in weight loss and alternative healing methods is a plus. ● DEA License: Active DEA license required for prescribing and administering treatments (Indiana, Texas, Florida, Maryland, Washington are all great value adds) ● Room for growth!
