Electrical Power Systems Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Engineering Power System Automation to join our Engineering Services team. As a Project Engineer - Automation you will play a critical role in designing implementing and optimizing automation solutions for power systems. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient and reliable operation of electrical infrastructure ensuring the delivery of power to customers without interruptions or failures.

As a Project Engineer a typical day might include the following :

• Develop and maintain a proficient level of expertise in the detail design practices of SEL protection and automation systems.
• Design and configure automation systems including automation controllers communication networks Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and security gateways.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation solutions to ensure proper functionality accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze power system requirements and develop automation solutions that align with customer needs.
• Provide training and assistance to customers in the installation commissioning and operation of automation and protection systems both on-site and remotely.

Pay Range Data

Project Engineer I - $100000- $144460.

We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job responsibility and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience training knowledge and skills.
