Job Details

Child Life Specialist position in a 50 Bed Pediatric Unit at St Lukes Boise Medical Center.

Workload varies depending on needs; typically 15-20 patients.

Primary area will be for inpatient PICU & Pediatrics, with potential to float to other areas.

Job Requirements

1 year of experience in specialty required.

Must be a team player, adaptable, and have a positive attitude.

Schedule Information

Shifts typically 5-8s M-F 8 : 30-5 or 4-10s Fr-M 0730-1800.

Weekend requirements depend on shift.

May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation.

Unit Specific Information

May float to NICU, Peds, PICU, procedural areas, and outpatient clinic settings.

3 Assistants float throughout the different areas.

Additional Details

BLS required; Med Sol Interview / Auto Offer.

Unit specific orientation includes 2 days General Orientation, 1 / 2 day Epic training, and 4 shifts with a preceptor.
