Description :

The Production Assembler-Level 1 assembles products or components focusing on ensuring items are put together according to specific instructions, drawing and / or quality requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify cable / wire and parts against work order bill of material and drawings.
  • Read drawing / build work order instructions and verify cable / wire cut lengths.
  • Build assembly per drawing / quality specification and requirements.
  • Test first piece connector assemblies for electrical continuity.
  • Make visual inspections on crimps and solders.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
  • Ensure work order build times conform to build standards and order due dates.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a production or assembly role is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and assembly machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating parts.
  • Flexibility to work overtime if needed.
