About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 10 or 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room, preferably in a Level 1 trauma setting

License : RN License (New York)

Certifications : BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

Must-Have :

• Moderate Sedation Experience
• Interventional Radiology Experience

Description :

Seeking a moderate sedation nurse in the Operating Room.

The role involves caring for a wide variety of patients.

Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, gynecology, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma.

The facility is equipped with 2 robotic surgical systems used across multiple specialties.

The transplant program includes liver, kidney, and heart transplants.

Candidates must have moderate sedation experience and interventional radiology experience, in addition to the required RN license and certifications.

Preference will be given to those with two years of OR experience, specifically in a Level 1 trauma setting, and those able to scrub.
