• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
• Holiday requirements apply if contract period includes holidays
• Four weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratios of 1 : 1, 1 : 2, and 1 : 3 depending on patient acuity in mixed ICU and step-down unit
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
• South Carolina or Multi-State Compact RN license required
• Required certifications : BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for pediatric patients ages 0-18 with medical and surgical diagnoses including respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative patients, and neurology / neurosurgery cases
• Work with complex supportive therapies including ECMO, CRRT, renal dialysis, and ventilatory support
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 12-hour orientation required
• Block schedule accommodation requires manager approval based on unit needs
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required from June through November Facility : This pediatric facility operates a 28-bed intensive care unit providing intensive and intermediate care to children from across the state.
