Job Summary

As the Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to design and implement solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems. This position will be full-time, long-term contract , and hybrid in Trenton, NJ.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement Salesforce solutions and integrations with external systems

Liaise with program offices to evaluate user requests and document functional and non-functional requirements

Architect, develop, and deploy solutions that meet desired specifications

Document application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements

Identify and evaluate vendor / partner software and integration strategies

Develop and code solutions to specification

Define system landscapes and identify gaps between current and desired end-states

Lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients

Identify and implement appropriate testing strategies

Execute steps required to deploy / implement application solutions

Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements

What You'll Need

Required :

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related technical field

(7)+ years of experience in application development activities including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object-oriented programming, and Client Server technologies

Experience in the Salesforce declarative environment

Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration experience

Salesforce Developer or Admin track certifications

Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical people

Ability to think outside of the box and design innovative solutions

Agile development experience

Experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, Javascript

Preferred :

Experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$65p / h - $72p / h

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
