Job Summary :

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient / family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Unit : Emergency Department (Float Pool)

Facility Details : Union facility

Level 2 Trauma Center

Float position staffed every 4 hours May be pulled to ED and ED Observation only

Experience Required : Minimum 2 years of recent and relevant Emergency Department experience required

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5, may increase depending on case load

Certification / Licensure Required : ACLS – Required BLS – Required

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing - Required

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Certifications : TNCC ENPC or PALS NIHSS CPI
