Position Title : Structural Engineer (Intermediate to Senior Level)
Location : Minneapolis (Hybrid Schedule)

Position Summary :
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, modeling, and analyzing structural systems for new and existing commercial buildings from concept through construction. This is a technical, production-focused role ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys “doing the work” rather than delegating. Responsibilities include calculations, Revit modeling, design report preparation, coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, and construction administration tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop structural designs and engineering calculations for a wide variety of commercial, institutional, and civic building types.Serve as Structural Engineer-of-Record (or prepare to step into that role).Model and document structural systems using Revit.Prepare detailed engineering reports, technical narratives, and specification sections.Coordinate closely with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and interiors teams to integrate structural design solutions.Evaluate structural systems for both gravity and lateral loads using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.Review and respond to shop drawings, RFIs, change requests, and field issues during construction.Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and verify design intent.Participate in firmwide collaboration through an integrated project delivery process.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural or Architectural Engineering.Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE), or ability to obtain licensure in the near term.8–12 years of structural engineering experience preferred (candidates up to 20 years will be considered).Demonstrated experience with commercial, institutional, or civic projects (non-residential; not limited to wood stick-frame construction).Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP, RAM, RISA, Enercalc, SAFE, ADAPT or similar.Strong understanding of gravity and lateral systems.Ability to produce construction documents with Revit.Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills.Experience with BIM workflows and integrated project delivery is a plus.Compensation & Benefits :
