Job description

Cdl A Tractor-Trailer Drivers

Weber Display & Packaging is the place for you! We have openings for CDL A Tractor-Trailer Drivers in our Philadelphia manufacturing plant. We are a union shop with a customer base in the tri-state area. This position allows you to be home every day. Local deliveries in the tri-state area. Monday-Friday, Saturdays as needed. Starting pay $25.69.

Drivers duties and responsibilities include :

  • Operate a tractor-trailer to pick up and deliver freight within a defined area.
  • Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections of tractor / trailer(s) and when stopped en route.
  • Drop and hook trailer(s) and change equipment configurations as necessary.
  • Prepare, inspect, and clean trailers before loading freight.
  • Review freight bills for special instructions and inspect freight for damage.

Qualifications include :

  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Clean MVR
  • Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
  • Positive, professional attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to pass all DOT required pre-employment criteria (DOT physical & road test).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
