Sony Corporation of America seeks a Senior Analyst in San Diego, CA to analyze technical reports from web accessibility scan results and develop remediation plans and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze technical reports from web accessibility scan results and develop remediation plans and recommendations.
- Develop and implement remediation strategies to improve website accessibility status.
- Design and implement RPA logic to streamline accessibility checks and generate website status and compliance reports.
- Create guides for image, video, social media, and accessibility requirements definitions.
- Develop policies for website and domain governance, social media, and web accessibility; conduct regular policy reviews to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards for the Americas and EMEA, including WCAG, EN 301 549, European Accessibility Act (EAA), French Digital Accessibility Law, AODA, and ADA Title III.
- Apply Web Accessibility Standards and WCAG to ensure digital content meets or exceeds compliance requirements.
- Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to identify, diagnose, and remediate accessibility issues within codebases and provide technical recommendations for fixes.
- Conduct manual accessibility tests using assistive technologies including the NVDA screen reader, color contrast analyzer, and screen magnifier.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent.Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the electronics manufacturing industry with experience in using RPA to verify accessibility status of websites; performing web development to create RPA logic; creating guides and policies related to accessibility and governance.Experience with WCAG, EN 301 549, EAA, French Digital Accessibility Law, AODA, and ADA Title III.Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to diagnose and remediate accessibility issues.Ability to conduct manual accessibility tests using assistive technologies (NVDA, color contrast analyzer, screen magnifier).Salary range : $119,300.00 - $125,000.00 / year
