Job description100% Adult patients Trauma cases comprise approximately 40% of the patient load 100% inpatient care Neuro ICU : ~10 patients Neurosurgery consults : ~5 per night No other neurologists on-site during assignment Support by 2 neuro intensivists available by phone at night 3 Advanced Practice Providers in group Onsite lab and X-ray available EMR : Epic Trauma designation : Level 1 trauma center with comprehensive stroke services Must have Ohio medical license (no exceptions) Board Certification required (PA or CNP licensed in Ohio) Current BLS and ACLS certifications required ENLS certification highly preferred Comfortable covering a neuro ICU in a Level 1 trauma center Experience managing stroke patients required Able to cover a 16-bed neuro ICU and neurosurgical consults at night Assume leadership roles or managerial responsibilities in interim positions or short-term assignments, honing your leadership skills and management expertise. About The Position
We are seeking a Locum Nurse Practitioner -Critical Care Neuro to cover a hospital-based vacancy at a busy Level 1 Trauma Center with a comprehensive stroke program. This assignment offers the chance to provide critical neuro ICU care in a high-acuity environment with strong team support.
