Job Description

Job Title : Maintenance Supervisor

Location : Napoleon, Ohio

Duration : 12 Months of Contract

Shift Time : 10PM TO 6AM

Job Responsibilities

  • Screen incoming work orders, identify scope, and analyze required planning level
  • Coordinate maintenance activities across departments to plan / schedule repairs and PMs
  • Procure equipment and specialized tools for maintenance tasks
  • Communicate directly with contractors regarding outsourced work and performance expectations
  • Collaborate with vendors to identify replacement components and new technologies to improve productivity and throughput
  • Maintain functionality and reliability of facility systems and equipment through PM programs
  • Perform testing, repairs, rebuilding, or replacements of faulty parts and components
  • Support quality, production, safety, and Dana Operating System (DOS) programs
  • Maintain high standards for housekeeping, safety, and overall maintenance practices
  • Ensure all equipment remains in safe working order
  • Maintain accurate records including timekeeping, work orders, and maintenance logs
  • Comply with all local and federal safety codes and regulations

Experience :

  • 10 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, OR
  • 5 years maintenance experience + Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
  • Journeyman-level technical experience
  • In-depth knowledge of :
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Predictive / Preventive Maintenance Programs
  • MTTF / MTBF reduction methods
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to assess and manage risk factors effectively
  • Self-motivated and reliable with excellent attendance record
  • Willingness to work off-shift, overtime, and weekends as required
  • Ability to travel for training, education, and workshops (DOS / sister plants)
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Kanban principles
  • Proven ability to lead projects and teams
