WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS :

  • As Director of Quality for Roehm’s Region Americas, this role champions a culture of excellence across three dynamic business units.
  • It delivers strategic leadership in developing and enforcing quality standards, methodologies, and metrics that drive operational integrity.
  • The role ensures compliance with ISO, RC, and IATF standards while fostering continuous improvement through collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  • Ultimately, it empowers teams to uphold the highest quality benchmarks and deliver exceptional results.   WHAT YOU WILL DO Strategic Leadership Develop and execute a regional quality strategy aligned with global BU objectives.
  • Champion initiatives to reduce the cost of poor quality and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Lead harmonization of quality standards, methodologies, and systems across sites.
  • Operational Excellence Oversee implementation and compliance with ISO, IATF, RC, and customer-specific standards.
  • Manage internal audits, corrective actions, and complaint resolution processes.
  • Monitor and report quality KPIs to the Regional Management Team.
  • Ensure consistency in quality documentation and systems (e.g., SAP-QM, Intellaquest).
  • Continuous Improvement Lead root cause analysis and “correct at source” initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional problem-solving and process optimization.
  • Support global and regional quality improvement projects.
  • Team & Stakeholder Engagement Manage and develop regional quality personnel.
  • Collaborate with BU Heads, Plant Managers, and global ESHQ teams.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align quality goals and practices.   50% Travel Salary range $115,156.00 - $172,700.00 per year.  The posted salary range reflects the national average for this role.
  • Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications.  This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus in addition to base salary.

  • Full Time positions are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match, discretionary company contribution, paid time off and holidays, and wellness programs.    WHAT WE ARE SEEKING Minimum of a bachelor's degree in science or engineering or related discipline required, MBA preferred.  6 Sigma / LEAN Certified – preferred 7 +  years’ experience in the areas of Quality Management  Systems and Continuous Improvement Process Experience in the chemical, plastics, or manufacturing fields desired.
  • Quality certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience in implementing, managing, and maintaining ISO compliance is required, experience in implementing, managing, and maintaining IATF 16949 compliance is preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite :

  • Outlook, Excel / Pivot Tables, PowerPoint and Word Experience in SAP preferred.
  • QM systems (e.g., IQ, SAP, LIMS), project mgmt., Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma, data analysis & reporting Ability to travel domestically and internationally to manufacturing sites and other facilities up to 50%.
