Espresso Services Inc., established in 1989 as a technical coffee service company, has set the benchmark for quality equipment, service, and customer support in the specialty coffee industry. This position strategically leads a remote office by managing a small team of service technicians and providing sales support. Working collaboratively with the CEO and other management partners to set and achieve long-range strategic objectives, implement comprehensive business development projects, and ensure company policies and procedures are upheld by cultivating and sustaining the company culture, visions, and mission.
The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to :
- Responsible for the P&L; overseeing budget, cost control, and overall profitability of remote office
- Manage local sales, service, and operational staff
- HR responsibilities include onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and terminations
- Ensure team upholds customer service standards with professionalism, accuracy, and sense of urgency
- Develop and maintain industry knowledge of equipment, service, water treatment, and products as applicable to the company sales strategy
- Responsible for receiving inventory and completing monthly physical inventory counts
- Coordinate ongoing training and education for team
- Establish and maintain the on-call schedule for the service department
- Uphold brand standard of company facilities through proper security, maintenance, and overall appearance
- Manage payroll, time tracking, and expense reporting
- Create social engagement through remote office events and outings
- Assist in accounts receivable collections
- Engage as a company representative within the local community and establish a personal network
- Travel to the Minneapolis, MN office quarterly or as directed
- Ensure company policies and procedures are upheld
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
