New Haven Youth and Family Services is seeking an outstanding, caring and dedicated Special Education Teacher. The opening is for a full-time licensed Special Education Teacher. Teaching candidates must have experience and the flexibility to work with a diverse student population. The New Haven team works collaboratively to promote a culture of family, innovation, compassion and personal and professional growth.

Position Requirements :

1.) California Education Specialist Mild- Moderate Credential REQUIRED.

2.) Organizational, Behavioral intervention and classroom management skills.

3.) IEP experience required.

4.) Good communication skills with all members of the team.

5.) Good supervisory skills for classroom.

6.) Recognize each student by ability, not disability.
