Job description

Locum Tenens Opportunity : Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

Location : Near Flintville, Tennessee

Facility Description :

We have an immediate need for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to cover call shifts from December 21st to December 26th, with additional coverage required in 2024. This opportunity is based near Flintville, TN.

Assignment Details :

  • Specialty : Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Start Date : December 21, 2023
  • End Date : December 26, 2023, with potential for additional coverage in 2024
  • Allowed Holidays : 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, Labor Day
  • Provider Type : Physician (MD)
  • Coverage Type : Call Only
  • EMR System : MEDHOST
  • Practice Setting : Inpatient
  • Admissions Required : Yes
  • Patients Per Shift : 3

Credentialing and Support Details :

  • Certifications Required : NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) & Fetal Monitoring

  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Office / minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
  • Surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic / minor only, Operative / major)
  • Laser certification
