MEP Project Manager

Opportunity to manage state-of-the-art mechanical projects up to $60M. Family-owned contractor with 100+ years of stability and repeat clients.

This company is a fourth-generation, family-owned mechanical contractor with more than a century of success and a reputation as one of the largest and most respected firms in New England. They specialize in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects ranging from $20K-$60M and are recognized for their quality craftsmanship, long-term client relationships, and employee longevity. With multiple offices across MA and CT and their own fabrication facilities, they self-perform plumbing and piping while subcontracting sheet metal work. Job Description

Plan, oversee, and execute construction projects from inception to completion. Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and leadership teams. Address and resolve any challenges or issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Monitor quality control and ensure all deliverables meet required specifications.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager :

  • Brings 10-15 years of experience managing large-scale mechanical projects
  • Currently responsible for project financials, forecasting, and cost control
  • Comes directly from a mechanical contractor (not a GC or MEP management role)
  • Experienced across industrial, higher education, healthcare, and lab projects
  • Skilled with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Procore
  • Proven ability to lead teams of APMs, Project Coordinators, and Document Control staff
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, hands-on leadership approach
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable for project success
