We are seeking an experienced CVICU RN at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
Shift : Nights (3 x 12-hour shifts 7p-7a). Must be able to orient D / N rotation.

The CVICU is a 24-bed, high-acuity unit located in Falls Church, VA, specializing in the care of patients post-cardiac and vascular surgery, heart and lung transplant, advanced heart failure, and other complex diagnoses requiring intensive monitoring and life-saving interventions. Clinical Excellence and Real-Time Support :
- Dedicated Charge Nurse : Always out of patient assignments to lead clinical operations, support staff, and ensure high reliability throughout the shift.
- Advanced Resource RN : Device-trained and available on every shift to provide high-acuity support (ECMO, IABP, Impella, CRRT), cover lunches, assist with admissions, and serve as an in-unit mentor.

Experience : 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.Education : BSN from an accredited school of nursing.If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
Certifications : BLS for healthcare provider certification from AHA required. ACLS (must obtain within 6 months of hire).Licensure : RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RNPreferred Qualifications :
2+ years CVICU RN experience.CCRN certificationProficient in Advanced Therapy Modalities (e.g., IABP, Impella, CRRT, TTM, ECMO)Unit involvement : participation in unit-based or hospital committees, Charge RN, Preceptor
