Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care hospital's inpatient rehab unit Day shifts from 7 : 00 to 15 : 00, 5 days per week Expected to treat up to 6 patients during an 8-hour day Requires weekend coverage with one regular shift per week Floating between units and to affiliate hospitals as needed Epic EMR is used and proficiency is required Scrubs of any color are acceptable Responsibilities include providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy to a diverse patient population Completion of pre-start and annual training modules is required Expected to float between the contracted facility and nearby affiliate sites Must commit to working at least 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility for consideration Up to 6 days of requested time off or 3 consecutive days can be automatically approved; additional requests may delay hiring Requirements Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of relevant inpatient rehabilitation experience Epic EMR experience required Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years must be provided Must have a vehicle for transportation to float locations Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-635351.
