As a Customer Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to address customer inquiries through both phone and email, ensuring a high level of service and professionalism. You will also engage in critical customer support tasks such as problem resolution, order processing, and returns management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage inbound and outbound communications via phone and email professionally and courteously.
- Utilize exceptional data entry skills to ensure accurate customer records.
- Process customer returns and manage inventory effectively.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Adapt to an ever-evolving environment with flexibility and dependability.
- Provide backup coverage for the receptionist as needed.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a positive, CAN-DO attitude.
- Be available for overtime when required, with the possibility of same-day notifications.
- Uphold confidentiality while managing sensitive information.
- Participate in a variety of requested duties throughout the organization.
- Engage in plant-wide safety initiatives and adhere to necessary safety protocols, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
Qualifications : Requirements :
Associate's degree or a suitable combination of education and experience.A minimum of one year of related experience in a customer service role.Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access; familiarity with AS400 systems is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Aptitude for reading, analyzing, and interpreting instructions and information.Basic math skills, including the ability to work with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.Problem-solving skills, with the capability to gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Detail-oriented with effective prioritization skills.Strong organizational abilities and self-motivated to work independently.Ability to distinguish between colors is necessary.Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities to ensure they can perform essential job functions.Benefits & Perks :
