What You’ll Do

As a Pre-Op / PACU RN , you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and safe surgical experience for our patients. Your expertise will help provide the highest level of care , from preparing patients for surgery to monitoring recovery in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) .

Key Responsibilities :

• ️ Prepare patients for surgery according to hospital policies & procedures .
• ️ Assess and document patient history, vitals, and medication administration .
• ️ Monitor patients for anesthesia interactions, side effects, and expected outcomes .
• ️ Quickly and efficiently respond to emergency situations using ACLS, PALS, and hospital protocols.
• ️ Maintain accurate & up-to-date documentation in Cerner .
• ️ Ensure all admission requirements are met before surgery.
• ️ Adhere to hospital safety protocols to maintain a secure environment .
• ️ Provide compassionate patient & family education regarding the surgical process.
