Proficy Digital is the leading full-service digital marketing agency specializing in the automotive industry. Proficy empowers OEM clients and franchised dealerships to seamlessly integrate an AI / ML-based omnichannel platform, driving incremental sales and profitability.
General Summary :
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Proficy Digital is responsible for creating the first impression with prospective clients. This individual will generate new opportunities by researching target accounts, engaging decision-makers, and qualifying prospects for the sales team. The SDR will be instrumental in driving pipeline growth and setting the stage for successful client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator who’s excited to work the phones and is not easily rebuffed by a likely negative response. The candidate will be measured by their ability to get meetings with target prospective clients for leadership to engage with to further sales pursuits
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Research, identify, and target prospective clients through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach.
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls or demos for the sales team.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Proficy Digital’s value proposition, technology, and offerings to effectively communicate with prospects.
- Use CRM tools (Apollo & Zoho) to track outreach, pipeline progress, and key metrics with accuracy.
- Partner with Sales Management to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to leverage campaigns, content, and events for lead generation.
- Consistently achieve and exceed weekly activity goals (calls, emails, meetings booked).
- Contribute feedback from the field to help refine messaging and targeting strategies.
- Other administrative tasks as assigned.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage prospects quickly and clearly.Self-starter with high energy, resilience, and a competitive mindset.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong relationship builder with a customer-first mindset.Ability to quickly learn and articulate complex solutions in a simple, compelling way.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (Zoho experience a plus).Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field is preferred.1–2 years of prior sales or business development experience is strongly preferred (automotive industry experience is a plus but not required).Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
