Compensation

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1460-$1500 per week, depending on experience

Med / Surg RN Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Cartersville, Georgia 30120

Unit : Med Surg 5 North

Duration : 12 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026)

Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07 : 00 – 19 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Patient Population : Adults & Geriatrics

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend

Floating : Within facility / scope of practice as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience (first-time travel nurses welcome)

Active Georgia or Compact Registered Nurse license (required at submission)

BLS certification required

Experience with Epic charting system preferred

Community hospital or acute care experience preferred

Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred

Ability to submit core documents and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Med / Surg unit

Manage a patient ratio of 1 : 6

Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Perform clinical procedures including isolation precautions, nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and peripheral line care

Respond to rapid response and code teams as needed

Float to other nursing units within the facility as required

Work every other weekend and be available for major holidays per assignment policy
