Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Lewis Center, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our procurement process, ensuring that we acquire the right materials and services at the best prices. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for negotiation and supplier management, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and delivery conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
- Resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance in a timely manner.
