Senior Accounting & Data Analyst

Job Description

A financial services company is seeking a remote Senior Accounting & Data Analyst to support the financial integration of a recent reinsurance acquisition and drive transformative process improvements across the finance organization. This is a high level IC role responsible for the support of this technical transformation as well as organizational process improvements going forward. Within this role you will be data obsessed as the main doer of this highly technical transformation. A genuine desire to make positive improvements company and organization wide is critical, and the ideal candidate has a deep understanding of data flow with strong accounting foundations.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in accounting and / or finance including experience with technical accounting transformations.

Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.

Strong experience in ERP financial systems (Workday, SAP, etc.), including data flows from source systems to the general ledger (GL).

Deep understanding of data query tools including SQL and PowerBI.

Advanced excel experience. - STAT accounting experience.

Workday / SAP experience specifically.
