UW Medicine UW Medical Center-Montlake - Resource Team / Float Pool has outstanding opportunities for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT) positions.

SCHEDULE:

90% FTE - 36 hours per week

Day shift and Night shift

No set schedule

Looking for 1+ years of acute care / hospital experience as CNA

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse

• Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating

• Maintain a safe environment of care

• Patient transportation

• Prepare patients for surgery

• Perform non-invasive lab procedures

• Transport equipment and supplies

• Assist with treatments

• Perform various clerical tasks

• Take vital signs

REQUIREMENTS

• Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume)

• High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; OR equivalent education/experience.

• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$28.26 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$40.47 hourly

Other Compensation:

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus Evening Shift: $1.50 per hour Night Shift: $2.25 per hour Weekend Shift: $1.50 per hour Overtime Pay
