Corry Early Childhood Academy - Northeast area of the Bronx, NY - Immediate Opening

Sr. Francis of Assisi School is seeking a lead teacher for one of our PreK for All classrooms in the Catherine Corry Early Childhood Program. We are committed to working with families and each other to help each child develop their curiosity, knowledge and approach to learning in ways that honor the individual talents and interests of young children. QUALIFICATIONS

• BA (Early Childhood Education or related field - preferred)
• 3 years of experience working with children in a classroom setting up to grade 3
• One of the following

New York State teaching certificates :

Early Childhood (Birth - Grade 2);

An equivalent certification from a public or private teacher accrediting organization (out of State) granted reciprocity by the New York State Education Department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
