As a Security Professional - Auto Lot Patrol in Carneys Point, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to visitors and staff. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time Mon 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Tue 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Fri 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Sat 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Sun 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM What You'll Do : + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or access, with attention to the specific needs of an automotive facility. + Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols. + Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and site representatives regarding incidents, concerns, and / or emergencies. + Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized persons and / or activities. + Follow all post orders and instructions relevant to the location and unarmed patrol responsibilities. What We're Looking For : + Availability across various days and shifts + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : + Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. + Must be at least 21 years of age. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
