Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified General Surgery MD in North Dakota!

About The Position

We are seeking a General Surgeon for a 17-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota. This opportunity starts on Aug 15, 2025, involving day shifts in a clinic setting from Monday to Friday, with night and weekend on-call duties. The ideal candidate will engage in both clinic responsibilities and OR time, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

  • Monday : Clinic 8am-5pm + Night call
  • Tuesday : Clinic 8am-5pm + Night call
  • Wednesday : 8am-Noon OR Time, 1pm-5pm Clinic + Night call
  • Thursday : All OR time + 24 hour call
  • Friday : Clinic 8am-5pm + Night call
  • Weekends : 24 hour call

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct surgical procedures meeting the highest standards of patient care.
  • Manage clinic hours providing pre and post-operative consultations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation including night and weekend calls.
  • Ensure full utilization of the Epic EMR system to document patient interactions and surgical outcomes.

    • Additional Information

  • Board Certification in General Surgery required.
  • Active North Dakota medical license necessary.
  • Proficiency in Epic for electronic medical records.
