Pacific Coast Building Services, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for a Regional Safety Coordinator position. Type : Full-Time, Salary : $80,000-$90,000. Location : Portland, OR. Responsibilities :

• Travel to locations and jobsites in region as directed.
• Conduct and / or participate in weekly tailgate meetings.
• Participate in safety committee meetings.
• Perform, assist and coordinate accident investigations.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections and documents accordingly.
• Conduct warehouse, office, fleet and equipment inspections.
• Conduct inspections of equipment such as ladders, scaffolds, fall protection equipment, etc. Ensure biannual inspections are completed and documented.
• Create project specific documents such as site safety plans, job hazard analysis and fall protection plan.
• Communicate with management all safety violations and / or hazards recognized.
• Implement company safety policies and programs.
• Conduct training for equipment certification such as CPR, first aid, forklift and scissor lift.
• Review online safety training reports to ensure courses are completed.
• Conduct driver qualification training as needed for DOT compliance.
• Assist in review of field employee submissions for Job Hazard Analysis, Pre-Task Plan Forms, and Fall Protection Plans. Work with management on applicable corrective actions.
• Review and interpret safety reports for assigned branches (includes driving behaviors). Recommend applicable corrective actions.
• Abiding by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensuring that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Regular attendance is required.
