Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Abilene, Texas.

Job Details :

  • Work three 12-hour shifts per week (facility may not be able to block shifts together)
  • Additional late days and call shifts required
  • Must start December 1st or December 15th
  • Work in Neuro / Spine, Ortho / trauma, and General / robotics / trauma cases
  • Craniotomy and burr hole experience required (hard stop requirement)
  • 1 : 1 patient ratio for all shifts
  • 40 hours of orientation required
  • Care for patients of all age groups : adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
  • 2 years of experience in service line required
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
  • Skills include amputations, spinal fusions, joint replacements, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, and various trauma procedures
  • Charting system : Allscripts (Altera experience preferred)
  • Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
  • Must complete modules during orientation (6-8 hours, non-billable)
  • Hard document due date : Thursday 2pm CST prior to start
  • Must be available to complete lab items within 72 hours of accepting offer
  • Facility conducts mandatory drug screen upon arrival including marijuana testing
  • Must live outside 150-mile local radius
