Job Description

Our client is looking to add a Procurement Manager to their team in Columbia, SC . This position will manage the acquisition of supplies, services, and equipment through formal contracts to support programs. Oversee all phases of contract development and administration.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and manage bids / RFPs, solicit proposals, and award contracts.
  • Develop solicitations of $25,000+ including required clauses and advertising.
  • Evaluate bids, determine bidder responsibility, and select contract awards.
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee contract administration, including defaults or terminations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and departments on procurement needs.
  • Maintain vendor lists, track market trends, and attend product / vendor expos.
  • Perform data entry, generate reports, and process purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, public finance, procurement, or related field
  • 4+ years of expereince in procurement
  • Excellent MS Excel Skills
  • Team player attitude
  • Hours :

  • Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
  • Summer Hours = 4 Days per week (Longer hours)
