Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

LOCUMS PSYCHIATRIST - NORTH CAROLINA

Location : Western NC, Haywood County

Setting : Hospital / Inpatient

Reason for need : Vacancy - Long-Term Permanent Search (Current physician leaving for another job on May 10th)

Coverage : Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call (Beeper)

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8a-5p;

min. 4 hr rounding & consults

Call Night / Weekend : max is 1 night / week (days vary);

1 weekend / month (Friday,Saturday,Sunday)

Call start : 5pm Call end : 8am (Call numbers vary)

Number of Admissions / shift : 2-4 / day + some consults

Support staff availability : PA, Hospitalist, Nursing, Clinicians

Age of Patients : Adult 18-64 and Geriatric 65+

EMR : Paragon

Time for Credentialing : 3 weeks minimum

Temp Privileges will be granted if needed

Malpractice provided

Travel / Lodging provided
