Opportunity : RN - PCU

Job Details :

  • Varied work schedule with float pool assignment across two campuses
  • Float between BUMC-Tucson (Level I Trauma 625 beds) and BUMC-South (Level IV Trauma 245 beds)
  • Work on Adult Health units including Observation, Med Surg, PCU, and IMC units
  • May occasionally float to ED or PACU for Adult Health patients waiting for unit beds
  • Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required
  • Current valid RN license in state of practice required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
  • Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area
  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to organizational policies
  • Provide direct patient care, coordinate care, delegate and supervise healthcare team activities
  • Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and discharge planning needs
  • Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, bending frequently and ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
