Compensation

Salary Range : $21.00 - $29.76 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Designation and Pay Range Information :

This position may be filled as a Sitter, Nurse Tech or Sitter, CNA, depending on the candidate's certification status. Candidates with a current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification may be eligible for the Sitter, CNA designation. The listed pay range encompasses the minimum rate for Nurse Tech and the maximum rate for CNA.

Position Overview :

Provide safe, efficient and therapeutic patient care for patients who need a sitter while in the hospital, which includes constant observation, while under direction of Licensed Nurse and Medical Staff.

Qualifications

Required :

High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)

• One (1) year experience as a Nurse Tech in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
