What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.

Revenue Recovery is a vital part of Cardinal Health's Financial Ops organization. Revenue Recovery is committed to driving the accuracy and efficiency of GPO Admin Fee payouts. This group focus includes ensuring the proper payout of GPO Admin Fees, improving processes and fostering a collaborative, learning environment.

Job Summary

As an Advisor within Revenue Recovery, you will play a key role in managing correct GPO administrative fee payouts within the Cardinal Health Medical segment. This includes working directly with external GPO audit teams to understand erroneously paid fees, auditing internal and external reporting, and working with internal upstream teams to correct the errors that cause the fees to be paid incorrectly. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage relationships with numerous internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • GPO Admin Fee Payout Accuracy : Analyze complex GPO admin fee payout data to understand the various root causes that drive incorrect payouts. Work with internal, external and offshore business partners to fix the upstream errors. Process payments to correct fees paid out incorrectly.
  • GPO Relationship Management : Work directly with GPO Audit teams to understand and address concerns with incorrectly paid fees. The person in this role will be the primary Revenue Recovery contact for one or more external GPOs.
  • Process Standardization and Project Management : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and standardize end-to-end admin fee processes.
  • Skill and Business Development : Engage in continuous learning to develop your skills and business acumen, enhancing your understanding of how Revenue Recovery fits within the broader Rebates and Incentives space, and how that impacts broader segment strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in rebate management, financial analytics, or a similar role within a commercial, finance or healthcare environment, preferred
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of leading process discussions and influencing others
  • Proven ability to project manage and collaborate across functions and contribute to process improvements
  • Experience with MS Excel
  • Proficiency in SAP, preferred

  • Anticipated salary range : $67,500-$96,300
