The Intern - Launch NPI Engineer position will be located in our HOWMET MEXICO / HOWMET DEL RIO, TX

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our Plant HOWMET MEXICO / HOWMET DEL RIO, TX team as a Process Engineer Summer Intern. This position will assist engineering and manufacturing in driving improvements in quality and delivery performance through process control and improvement initiatives.

The 2026 Summer Internship Program also includes : lunch & learns presented by senior leaders, tours of our manufacturing plants & processes, networking opportunities, volunteering in the local community, and fun social activities to connect with fellow interns.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.
• Employee must have a current US Passport to commute every day to our Mexican plant
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
