Role : Swiss CNC Machinist

Location : Wheeling, IL

Duration : Long-term Contract

Shift : Night Shift | 5 : 30 PM – 5 : 00 AM | Monday–Thursday (4 days / week)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Swiss CNC Machinist to join their team in Wheeling, IL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and maintaining Swiss CNC machines, ensuring part quality, and collaborating in a fast-paced, team-driven manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate multiple Swiss CNC machines to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and general upkeep of machines.
• Conduct regular in-process inspections to verify part quality and compliance.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Read and interpret blueprints and apply basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs for part inspection (training provided as needed).
• Make tooling changes and offsets as required per layout instructions (training provided as needed).
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and quality concerns.
