Responsibilities Work in the hospital Med / Surg Staffing Resource Team with assignment to multiple Med / Surg units as needed Float between Med / Surg units including 1 East, 1 West, 2 West, 2&3 East, 3 West, 4 West, 5 West, ED, and PACU May provide coverage for ED and PACU borders and act as Deceased Patient Coordinator as required Day / night rotation with a 36 hours per week schedule May be assigned as Deceased Patient Coordinator depending on staffing needs No local candidates accepted; must live at least 75 miles from the facility Team-based environment with support for floating between various units Candidates must maintain an active license throughout the assignment Requirements Active NH or Compact RN license required, with proof of state residency Current BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years recent Med / Surg experience Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience required within the last 2 years Experience with float assignments highly preferred Competency with chest tubes, lines / tubes / drains for post-surgical patients, drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone), trachs / laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, and central line care and blood draws Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-616986.
