What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk. Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for students, staff, and / or visitors as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and / or incident reports as needed. Communicate professionally with staff, students, and / or visitors to assist with inquiries and provide information about the location as appropriate. Support emergency response activities by reporting security-related concerns and following instructions from Allied Universal and / or site leadership. Minimum Requirements : Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
