Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is looking for a Supply Clerk to work in Fort Stewart, Georgia. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! Supply Clerk : Receives, inspects, inventories, loads, unloads, segregates, stores, issues, delivers, and turns-in Organizational / Direct Support and Installation supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supply Clerk operates Unit or Direct Support Logistics Information Systems.
• Prepares all Unit / DS supply documents.
• Maintains automated Supply System for accounting of Organizational / Direct Support and Installation supplies and equipment.
• Coordinates supply activities, post transactions to organizational / direct support and installation property books and supporting transaction files.
• Determines method of obtaining relief from responsibility for lost, damaged and destroyed supply items.
• Must have basic knowledge of MS Office suite.
• May operate forklifts. May use powered hand tools.
• Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling very heavy parts and loads, up to 70 pounds.
• Maintains tools and equipment and cleans work areas to maintain a safe work environment.
